The best movies and TV series to watch on Amazon.com this Christmas!

The Best Movies

Bridget Jones BabyIf you want a mixture of romance and a comedy, then there is little doubt about the fact that Bridget Jones’s Baby is the number one movie to watch. I did not expect so much from this movie, especially considering that it is the third in the Bridget Jones series, but it was a hilarious movie. It received lots of great critics all around the globe, and it was just released on DVD and Blu-Ray, giving the large audience a chance to watch it!

Maybe Bridget Jones’s Baby is to sweet and pink for you. Then Matt Damon can help you out in the newest Jason Bourne movie which has just been released on DVD and Blu-Ray as well. It is an action packed movie, and even though I read some bad critics of the movie, I totally enjoyed watching it myself. If you like action and the Jason Bourne pace, then this is a perfect movie for you to watch!

Would you like more action then X-Men: Apocalypse or Captain America: Civil War might be two movies worth watching. These are both super hero movies from Marvel, and they are enjoying a crazy big popularity all across the globe. I have watched both movies and they are both worth watching if you like super powers and super heroes. Let me also give you one good and one bad news with this. If you have never seen an X-Men movie before, then there are lots of movies to catch up on. So, if you watch X-Men: Apocalypse and like it, then you suddenly got an entire series of movies to watch. The same is true with Captain America: Civil War. You might have a busy Christmas ahead of you!

The Best TV Series

This Is USIf you want to watch a TV series on Amazon.com this Christmas that has something to say, then the brand new NBC series named This Is Us it what you have to watch. This has a brilliant story, great actors and it is simply so much more than just a TV series. It might impact your life, it will touch you and it will make you smile, laugh and cry. Lots of people have compared it to another NBC success series named Parenthood. According to TV stats in the USA this is the most popular of all newcomer shows on US TV this autumn. You can also watch This Is Us on Hulu if you have a Hulu subscription.

Watching 24 might be a little bit intense for a nice Christmas celebration. But, Designated Survivor with Kiefer Sutherland is “nicer” to watch, but still is a fantastic new show to watch. It has some action, it is a drama and it is loaded with tensity and makes you want to watch a new episode whenever the former episode has ended. This is also a brand new TV series this autumn, so you only have nine episodes to catch up on. That is just perfect, meaning around one episode a day during the Christmas holidays!

The best Christmas movie

If I had to watch one movie for Christmas then it would probably be The Holiday. It is not available on Amazon Prime, but you can watch it as an Amazon Instant Video. This is the nice and romantic story about two women changing houses for Christmas. On their switched locations they meet some nice people and of course fall in love!
