Coming to Amazon Prime April 2019

So, what can you look forward to on Amazon Prime in April 2019? Are there any titles coming that you need to write down in your schedule, and that should make your heart beat faster?

April will be a fantastic month for movie lovers and those in love with great TV shows. It will be the month when the movie expected to create the biggest revenue in all of 2019 will arrive, Avengers: Endgame. Personally, I look very much forward to this movie as well, and I hope to be in the cinema among the first to see this and experience the movie. How will it all end? Will the Avengers bring revenge upon all the fallen heroes from the Infinity Wars movie? I have no clue, but I really hope it will be amazing!

Highlights on Amazon Prime in April 2019

If you look through the list of content coming to Amazon Prime in April 2019, you might feel disappointed, just like me. There are a couple of highlights, for example Vikings season 5 and also the brand new season of Bosch, the Amazon original series.

The Book Club is another entertaining movie, and as I have mentioned in some other articles, this is a movie about sex among elders, and of course, what to do when you are a pensioner and your body is turning old.

Besides these, there are a couple of highlights, but in general, it will be yet another dull month on Amazon Prime. If you are a fan of James Bond, make sure to check out all the James Bond movies coming on April 1st to the streaming platform.

If you like scary movies, then you might want to watch A Quiet Place from April 21st or later. Here you will see the main character from the new Jack Ryan series on Amazon in a world in which they need to stay entirely quiet. If they make a sound, they will be attacked and killed. But, is it possible to stay entirely quiet? How can they make their kids stay quiet?

Would you like to watch a crazy comedy? The movie Overboard will come to Amazon Prime in April 2019. I watched this in the cinema. It isn’t the best movie, but it will for sure do if you want to get a laugh or two while watching a very rude boat captain who has inherited a lot of money, behave in an inproper way towards a lady who simply comes to help clean up on his boat.

Normally, Amazon Prime and Hulu are quite similar when it comes to new movies, but there is one exception – Hulu often adds Scandinavian movies that Amazon Prime never bring. This has been true when it comes to the Department Q movies, then The Guilty which came in the end of February 2019, and in April 2019, it will be true again.

Now it is time for the Norwegian catastrophe movie named The Quake to be added to Hulu, and I hoped it would come to Amazon Prime as well… but unfortunately, it will not happen!

Unfortunately, April will be a quite boring month on Amazon Prime, so I guess I will spend my hours preparing for Avengers: Endgame, and the new episodes of Game of Thrones season 8 streaming content on other platforms, and not on Amazon Prime. What about you? Do you have anything special that you look forward to on Amazon Prime in April 2019? I would love to hear from you!
