Coming to Amazon Prime in September 2018

I almost forget to write about what’s coming to Amazon Prime sometimes, simply because the list is normally quite boring. The same is true about September 2018.

I have to admit, that I am not very excited about the titles coming to Amazon Prime in September 2018. The truth is, I am much more excited about what’s coming to Amazon Prime on August 31st, that is, the new Amazon Original series about Jack Ryan. That is something I am excited about, and I can’t wait for the day to arrive. I have great expectations for the upcoming Jack Ryan series, and I will write an article about it already tomorrow after I have seen one or two episodes.

But, let us return to Amazon Prime in September again. What can we expect? Take a look at the list first, and read my comments afterward.

Now, did you even have the strength to read through the entire list? This is a list of boredom. There are some movies I like there, but I have seen them a million times, and they do not really interest me. So, what should you watch on Amazon Prime in September 2018?

The answer is, watch Jack Ryan, the new Amazon original series. Since the release date is August 31st, you will probably watch it in September! There is, however, one more movie that should be mentioned, King Lear!

King Lear on Amazon Prime

The most interesting title coming to Amazon Prime in September 2018 is King Lear. The original story was written by Shakespeare around 1605. Now Amazon has taken the chance to re-create the story in a modern time. King Lear is played by the fantastic Anthony Hopkins, but he is not the only start featured in King Lear. As you watch King Lear, you will also see Emma Thompson, Emily Watson, and Florence Pugh.

The movie premiered on BBC in May and based on that it has a 6,8/10 score at IMDb at the moment. What do you think? Have you seen King Lear already? If not, take a look at it on Amazon Prime on September 28th and share your thoughts about the movie afterward.
