Location restriction (1005) – What to do?

I have a problem! As I try to watch Amazon Prime I get the following error message: “Location restriction (1005).” What can I do to get rid of it? What is causing the problem?

Thank you for the question! I have earlier written a long answer to exactly this question, so instead of writing it all over again, I recommend that you simply click the following link and follow the instructions I have given there!

How to get rid of the location restriction 1005 error message?
How to get rid of the location restriction 1005 error message?

To answer very shortly here as well, the problem is that Amazon Prime can only be broadcasted to people located in the United States (if you have a US subscription). As you try to watch Amazon Prime from abroad you will be stopped, because they do not have rights to broadcast it there, and that is when you will get the Location restriction (1005) error message. To get rid of it you need to make the Internet believe that you are located in the United States, and that is what you can read about in the article I linked to earlier!

Hope this answer has helped you, but feel free to write a comment if you have further questions or other problems!
