My personal favorite (or at least a movie that I would like to see) is Midsommar. This is a strange movie about a religious society and all its strange rituals, especially for someone coming to check out one of their celebrations who isn’t used to it.
Sherlock Holmes from 2009 is a big favorite of mine, and in the big anticipation of the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downey Jr., this is absolutely something worth watching.

Surfshark VPN has very low prices (quite similar to PureVPN). They come with a great support team, and they have applications for all important platforms. Some VPN providers to avoid if you want to watch Amazon Prime
The mentioned VPN providers all work well with Amazon Prime. But, then there are lots of VPN providers that don’t really work well with Amazon Prime. Some of them have servers working with the streaming services at times, but then they are blocked and it doesn’t work. So, it is very unstable, and considering that they are located in the United States or maybe in the UK, they are not really allowed to advertise their support for such services either. As a result, they are good for encrypting your online activity, but they will not help you much if you plan on streaming Amazon Prime.
Some examples of such VPN services are IPVanish and HideMyAss. But, I didn’t say that they never work, I just said that they have tons of servers in the United States, and 99% of those are blocked (if not 100%), and they are not really allowed to support such activities, making it a bad option for those who want to enjoy Amazon Prime while using a VPN. Some thoughts on what’s coming to Prime in December 2019
Forget about these texts, they are not correct and not about December 2019 on Amazon Prime!
Once again, these are my own thoughts and might not reflect what other people think. But, I have got to say that I will most likely use other streaming services more frequently that Amazon Prime also in December 2019. Disney+ has just entered the arena, and even though they haven’t got a lot of new stuff coming in December 2019, they will still bring us the final episode of The Mandalorian, and that in itself is a highlight one shouldn’t forget about.
I have looked through the lists of what’s coming to Hulu, HBO Now and Netflix in December 2019, and honestly, none of the streaming services come up with a lot of great stuff. But, I think that is more what the future will be like. Everything will be about original productions, so instead of getting your hands on famous and big Hollywood titles, it will rather be about watching the upcoming and original content of the different streaming providers.
Nightcrawler is a movie that will come to Amazon Prime in the start of December. It received lots of praise and good critics after its release in 2014, but still, it isn’t enough to make me happy about Amazon Prime as a streaming portal in December 2019.
The Last Post might be the most interesting title on the list. This is an Amazon original series, and it deals with people living on the front and what their lives are like. It is supposed to be packed with surprising elements, romance, and more, so this might be worth checking out.
The Mandalorian has been the highlight of Disney+ after its release on November 12th. The platform got 10 million subscribers on its first day, and I have a feeling that most of the people who signed up did so because of this brand new series. But, can you stream The Mandalorian only on Disney+, or can you purchase the series or the stand-alone episodes on Amazon.com? Can you stream The Mandalorian with your Amazon Prime subscription?
Disney+ can now be streamed in the United States, in Canada, in the Netherlands, in New Zealand, and in Australia. We are promised that the streaming service will come to quite some European nations in March 2020, but until then, can it be streamed elsewhere? And will it ever come to Amazon.com as an instant video option, or with Amazon Prime?

As you can see, these effects and toys are all related to The Mandalorian, but neither of them will help you stream the actual series. Will The Mandalorian ever come to Amazon.com? I have my clear doubts! Do you know why?
Why The Mandalorian will not come to Amazon?
Can you imagine a bakery known for its awesome vanilla and chocolate cake that is impossible to find elsewhere? People run to the bakery to buy it, and once they are there, they, of course, spend money on other products as well. Other bakeries would love to sell the vanilla and chocolate cake, and thus, they would be willing to pay a lot for the rights to sell it themselves. But, if the bakery would give up their specialty, they would end up losing visitors and make less money in the end. So, by keeping their favorite to themselves, they make sure that people have to visit them to get their hands on it.
What does the vanilla and chocolate cake have to do with The Mandalorian? People come to Disney+ to watch this series. Actually, this is the number one reason why people actually signed up for the service in the first place. But, if they would give away the rights to show the series and let it be streamed on Amazon.com as an Instant Video or with Amazon Prime, people wouldn’t need the Disney+ subscription anymore, and it would end up with very few subscribers for the streaming service from Disney.
In order to attract users, they will, therefore, keep this golden egg to themselves, and that is why it will never come to HBO, Netflix Amazon Prime, or Hulu.

There are still great movies and TV shows worth watching on Amazon Prime. In a few days, the movie Brittany Runs a Marathon will come to the platform, and we have also been given the second season of Jack Ryan recently. In other words, there are lots of great stuff still available on Amazon Prime.
A Simple Favor is a movie from 2018 starring Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively. It was directed by Paul Feig, and people had high expectations for the movie before watching it. Did they end up disappointed, or was the movie just as good (or even better) than people expected?
I came to the cinema with great expectations as I got ready to watch A Simple Favor. It sounded really promising, and I expected an exciting movie that would be packed with intensity, smart movies, and a tricky plot. Well, the movie kind of gave all of this to me, but still, I left the cinema quite disappointed. And, I am not the only one who felt that way.
A Simple Favor feedback in general
Based on more than 100,000 votes on IMDb, the movie currently has a rating of 6.8. That is an okay rating, but not at all an especially good one.
The Rotten Tomatoes audience has been fairly nicer to the movie, and it has an 85% critics score, while the audience score is 73%. Now, these scores might give you a hint about the quality of a movie, but I have often discovered that I don’t agree with such ratings at all, so let me share with you my thought about the movie!
My thoughts on A Simple Favor (2018)
A few words about the story (no spoilers)
Stephanie (Anna Kendrick) plays the role of a naive mother who meets up with Blake (Emily Nelson). The latter is a rich person, she has everything, she has style, she has a nice house, and everything seems to be extremely perfect. Stephanie enjoys the relationship, but one day Blake just disappears. What is going on? Stephanie is out on a quest to discover what has happened, and together with the husband of Blake (whom she somehow likes a bit too much), they try to understand what is going on.

Great potential without the power to reach its destiny
When I went to the cinema to watch A Simple Favor, I had watched another movie a few weeks earlier named Searching. It was a kind-of similar movie, and the plot reminded me of A Simple Favor. The only difference was that Searching was more of a B-movie with no big names, while A Simple Favor has Anna Kendrick and a bigger Hollywood budget.
But, as I left the cinema, I knew for sure that I preferred Searching to A Simple Favor. It is hard to put words on what I didn’t like about A Simple Favor, but it just felt as if it never managed to come through. It had such great potential, but for some reason, it remained flat and almost boring.
And as the movie came to an end, I also felt as if the plot in itself ended up being quite boring.

I would give this movie a 5/10 score. It should have been way better, but at the same time, it could have been way worse!
A Simple Favor can now be streamed on Amazon Prime in the United States. I don’t know for how long it will be available on the platform, so if you have the intention of streaming the movie, I strongly suggest that you get started straight away!
Christmas is a season of love, of joy, and of having a wonderful time together with those that we love. Watching a great movie together can be a wonderful time to spend such precious moments together, but what does Amazon Prime do to help you on your quest for the precious Christmas atmosphere in 2019?
I seem to remember from earlier years that Amazon Prime isn’t the best place to be if you want to stream awesome movies before Christmas. Has anything changed in 2019? I have just spent some hours looking through the movies available on Amazon Prime, and to be honest, the most interesting Christmas title will be removed from Amazon Prime on November 21st (The Man Who Invented Christmas).
There are a couple of movies that might be of interest to some, but the only quality content available is for kids and animated stuff.
Christmas content on Amazon Prime in 2019
There are lots of results if you search for Christmas movies available for Prime subscribers, but if you look at the quality of the actual results, you will almost be disgusted. Most of the productions have so bad quality that I would have made a better movie with my mobile phone at home (at least it feels as if I would have). Some of them haven’t even got trailers available, meaning that they were never meant to reach a large audience.
Luckily, there are a few exceptions. One such exception is the movie Noel, starring Penelope Cruz, Susan Sarandon, Paul Walker, and Alan Arkin. For some reason, this never reached the big audience either, but still – there are at least some famous actors taking part in the movie.
The second Christmas movie with some celebrities on Amazon Prime is A Merry Friggin Christmas. Here we meet Robin Williams, Pierce Gagnon, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Lauren Graham, and Joel McHale, in something that looks like a B- production. Still, it is one of the best options for those looking for a Christmas movie to stream on Amazon Prime in 2019.
What to watch on Amazon Prime for Christmas then?
That is the question I keep asking myself as well. If you have some kids in the house, show them an old mixture for classics which is available with the Prime subscription. You can also watch If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.
If you check the little clip above presenting the best Christmas content on Amazon Prime in 2019, you should definitely see it through. How come? After the presentation of lousy and poor Christmas movies available, you will see three movie recommendations that can be streamed on Amazon Prime that has nothing to do with Christmas. I guess they will give you a way better mood than those poor Christmas movies, so I would just go ahead and stream those instead.

Movies that should have been available on Amazon Prime
There are so many Christmas classics that should have been on Amazon Prime, but that is nowhere to be found. The Holiday and Love Actually might be the two biggest Christmas classics from modern times. And then you have lots of other Christmas movies that I would call B movies (4 Christmases, Christmas with the Kranks, and others). These are not really good movies, but compared to what’s available on Amazon Prime currently, it would be a dream to have these movies available.

One of the Amazon shows I have been waiting for more than any other is the second season of Jack Ryan. But, now the wait is over and we can all stream Jack Ryan season 2 on Amazon Prime.

The second season of Jack Ryan will continue where the first season ended. They have even done the job of creating a summary of season 1 at the start of the second season. As a result, I believe it will be possible for people to join in here who haven’t even seen the first season.
Is Jack Ryan season 2 worth watching?
To be honest, I haven’t seen it yet. I am still waiting, but I think I will get started within a couple of days. And if I know myself well (and I do), then I will probably not be able to stop watching before it is finished, meaning that the time between the start and the end of Jack Ryan season 2 will be very short.
Amazon is doing a great job producing original material, and I know Jack Ryan is one of their most popular original shows. I will write more here when I have seen it to share my thoughts, but until then, why not read my thoughts about the first season of Jack Ryan right here.
If you want to find something else to stream, then there are lots of other shows available online. Not many of them can be streamed on Amazon Prime, but if you like action, then you might enjoy The Blacklist. The seventh season is currently airing on NBC in the United States, and you can also watch the most recent episodes of The Blacklist season 7 on Netflix. You will need to use a VPN for this to work, but if you are familiar with using a VPN to stream Amazon Prime abroad, then you will quickly understand how it works. However, most VPNs are blocked from the regions in which you can watch The Blacklist season 7 on Netflix, so you better be patient and following the instructions in the video referred to above if you want to watch the new season online.
There are many other series available online as well. Some of them are good, while most of them are quite bad and boring. But, a good show to watch is Living With Yourself, a Netflix original show starring Paul Rudd. I have just watched the first season and its eight episodes, and I have got to say – it was a great treat!

I have written four titles in bold, and those are the four most interesting arrivals on Amazon Prime in November (the way I see it). The Report is a movie starring Adam Driver, a fantastic actor. He is working on unveiling the truth about the interrogations and what took place after September 11th.

But, Adam Driver isn’t the only person trying to unveil crimes. Jack Ryan, is also out there to solve the trouble. Even though it is a computer analyst, he is doing so much more, and in the second season of this action series from Amazon, he is dealing a lot with Venezuela and possible attacks and trouble coming from the country. I have watched the entire first season of the show, and I do hope they will manage to make the second season even better!
What would have happened if the Germans won the Second World War? Well, the final season of The Man in the High Castle will come to Amazon Prime in November 2019. This will, hopefully, be a worthy end to this very popular Amazon original series.
If I had to say which titles I look forward to the most, then it would probably be Jack Ryan season 2, and Brittany Runs a Marathon. The latter sounds and looks quite funny, and it makes me think of similar movies like I Feel Pretty (with Amy Schumer). So, here we have a girl with some trouble and who feels like nobody pays attention to her. One day, she decides to make a change and soon it turns into preparation for a marathon. Will she succeed? And will she feel more happy about herself after all of this?
