The fourth season of Cuckoo has just been released by BBC. Cuckoo fans all across the world are happy, but is there a way to watch all four seasons on Amazon? Is it included with the Prime subscription?
Cuckoo is a British humor series created for/by BBC 3. It is a classic example of how BBC can create fantastic TV series, and it is one of my favorites series. I had to wait a long time for the fourth season to arrive, but on August 3rd it was released on BBC. Big fans of the series can watch all four seasons of Cuckoo on the BBC website, so if you are a big fan and want to stream Cuckoo online, I suggest you watch it on BBC. All seasons can be seen for free, the only requirement is that you are located in England. If you live outside England, follow these instructions to watch Cuckoo on BBC from abroad.
But, let us return to the original question. Is it possible to watch Cuckoo on Amazon? Is it included with the Prime subscription? The answer is yes, and no!
You can watch the first three seasons of Cuckoo on Amazon in the USA and in the UK. The fourth season is not available anywhere yet, but it will be released on DVD in the UK on December 31st in 2018. It will most likely turn available as an Instant Video a few weeks later both in the USA and in the UK, but I cannot say anything for sure about that, because the first three seasons are not available as Instant Videos now either. Cuckoo is not included in any Prime package
So, you can buy the seasons or stand-alone episodes, but Cuckoo is not available with the Prime subscription in any country. The reason is that it has been sold to Netflix (or something like that), and therefore it is shown as a Netflix original content in most nations where you can watch Cuckoo on Netflix. And as you probably know, original Netflix content will not show up as Amazon Prime content.
Again, I recommend you to use BBC if you want to watch Cuckoo online right now. You can watch all four seasons on BBC iPlayer, so why wait or pay for a Prime subscription or for a DVD, when you can watch all Cuckoo seasons (including the fourth season) on BBC right away?
