It isn’t easy to compile a list of the best movies on Amazon Prime. There is so much to watch, and we are completely different when it comes to taste and requests. That is why I tried to include quite different movies in this list, meaning that you will hopefully find at least a couple of movies that you will find interesting!

Are you tired of the typical Hollywood movies and want something that has a meaning, a purpose, and not always the happiest ending? The Private War tells the story of a photographer who has traveled into war zones and seen terrible things, all because she wanted to report and see with her own eyes what’s going on. This is a true story and one that might be a real eye-opener!
Even though I can Only Imagine is a Hollywood production, it is still based on an entirely true story, and it is a heart-melting story about love, forgiveness, compassion, hatred, and a beautiful song born out of all of this.
Would you rather watch some traditional Hollywood fun? Then you can go for Baywatch or Overboard for some lame, but still funny, summer movies on Amazon Prime.
In the mood for some action instead? Then Bruce Willis is quite amusing in the movie Death Wish, while Liam Neeson does his part to keep you stuck to the screen in the movie The Commuter. Neither of these movies are great, in fact, Death Wish actually won some Raspberry Awards (the opposite of the Academy Awards). But, that doesn’t mean that it is entirely terrible!
If you liked About Time, go ahead and watch Time Freak as well. It is almost a copy of the story, except for the fact that it doesn’t take the concept to include child-birth and so on.
